Long-term care for seniors: A disgraced crisis in Ontario

A recent report with 91 recommendations released by Ontario’s government outlines how another senior’s death could be avoided after eight seniors were killed in a long-term care home.
The recommendations points to proper medication storage and trained staff.
But training is already provided to them in nursing school so why the need for more training? This is not right. Ontario government needs to fire all those nurses who abuse people in the dark and prosecute them to the fullest the law allows.
However, this trend is happening across the country where complaints of patients are not taken seriously. The questions is who does such a job to monitor complaints are heard?
These people are a disgraced to the respect of humans.
The recommendations will not change anything, it’s just ridiculous that such games happens in our province
